I wonder what I will find in here
for I’ve kept it locked away for all these years.
I never beared to let it go, you see
to remind me of
the ones I love.
I’ve filled the space around me.
I’m still looking for what’s inside of me.
It’s fleeting me.
Now that time’s passed
and decay has staked its claim,
the residue of all I knew
has washed away with its remains,
and I’ve gone too far away.
I’m still the same.
You won’t hear goodbye.
I lost what was around me.
I’m still in search for what’s inside of me.
It’s deceiving me.
